Quick to jump on the mini-laptop trend, The IdeaPad s9 offers users an 8.9-inch screen, while the IdeaPad s10 packs a 10.1-inch screen. Both have displays running at 1,024x600 pixels, run Windows XP, and will use 1.6Gz Intel Atom N270 CPUs. One will get 512MB of RAM and an 80GB hard drive, while the other gets 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. These mini-tops will also contain a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 4-in-1 memory card reader, and a three-cell battery. All versions will be available in a variety of colors, including red, white, black, clue and pink. Look for these “pads” in early October 2008.
